These services are performed in accordance with IEC 61094-5:2016 and IEC 61094-6:2004, and are officially accredited by BELAC, the Belgian Accreditation Body.
Microphone capsules and microphone assemblies can be calibrated independently of brand, for both ‘open-circuit’ and ‘loaded’ sensitivity. The frequency response is accurately measured using either coupler or actuator methods, with frequency limits up to 40 kHz and 204 kHz, respectively.
Thanks to the advanced measurement system, 1”, ½”, ¼” and 1/8” microphones can be calibrated. Additionally, TEDS information can be programmed if required.
For applications involving microphone pairs, where precise phase and amplitude matching is critical, microphone pairs can be calibrated up to 40 kHz using advanced coupler measurements.
